Change to the BCBS Renewal Process

Due to the changes in the Affordability Care Act (ACA or Health Care Reform Bill), a group renewing with BCBS must complete additional paperwork in order to maintain their grandfather status. To learn more about grandfathered plans, please visit our Health Care Reform page.

When you receive your renewal package from BCBS, please communicate with your agent on whether it would be beneficial or not for your group to maintain grandfathering status.
